Light from Within 2

"Light: Illuminating Art" is the theme for ArtWalk, September 12 & 13 in Lake Country. This image and the one in the themed gallery at the Lake Country Art Gallery (September to October) called, "Keep Me Where the Light Is" were painted to represent the theme. I love working on this 'terraskin' paperless support as the water and pigment colours float and settle on the surface in surprising ways -- perfect for painting the hidden watery landscape beneath waterlilies.
