Artist Statement:

I believe that the aim of mothering is to allow children to grow up knowing their roots -- that they are loved; that they have a home; that they are part of this Earth and need to respect the Earth -- and then to help them develop their own wings to fly off and live their own life. It’s a big, beautiful responsibility. A Mother(load). It doesn’t mean we do any of it perfectly – there is no perfect. Creating art helps to express these deep mothering feelings of light, love, connectedness, and letting go.
