I love the spicy, earthy smell of geraniums and did a series for a "Gypsy-themed" art show. I want to continue exploring the relationship between these flowers and the pots they are in. It brings back memories of the Island of Santorini, Greece where the geraniums grow wild in people's gardens in the dry, hot climate and look so great growing against stone walls. Geraniums also grow well in our Okanagan summers and semi-arid climate. This painting resides in the home of two dear friends.
