Arrowleaf Balsam Root

Arrowleaf Balsam Root flowers are native to the Okanagan Valley and bloom profusely on the arid hillsides in the early spring. They are in my blood as I have early memories of sitting on the hillside amongst them smelling the combined herbaceous scent of these yellow flowers and sagebrush.
